Kotoko defender Gideon Baah joins FC Honka on loan

Published on: 22 February 2013

Asante Kotoko defender Gideon Baah has signed for Finnish top-flight side FC Honka on loan, the club have confirmed.

The left-back is down the pecking order at the club after the acquisition of Ugandan Joseph Ochaya.

Baah joined Kotoko three seasons ago after his former side Sporting Mirren were relegated from the Ghana Premier League.

The TV Soccer Reality Show winner failed to command a first team place after recovering from a career-threatening injury.

He broke his leg at the Baba Yara Stadium during the Ghana Premier League derby against Hearts of Oak.

The 2013 Finnish Veikkausliiga will begin on 13 April where FC Honka travel to Turn Palloseura.
