Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have denied they have advanced talks with Liberty Professionals to sign talented youngster Latif Blessing despite the player's claim of transfer talks.

The 17-year-old attacking midfielder has claimed on Saturday Kotoko and Liberty management are advanced in talks to bring him to the Baba Yara Stadium.

But, Kotoko Operations Manager George Kennedy claims he is unaware of any such moves by the Porcupines's management to sign Blessing.

"We are officially unaware of any deal with Latif Blessing. There have been no talks nor any negotiations with the player," he told Accra-based Asempa FM.

"Perhaps a club sympathizer is conducting these talks behind the scenes but officially there are no talks," he added.

Kotoko have recruited six new players including Berekum Chelsea's Samuel Kyereh Senior who has been capped by Ghana.
