Asante Kotoko fans have expressed ‘considerable disappointment’ over the club’s poor start to the season.

The Porcupine Warriors are still in search of their first win of the season after drawing 1-1 with Heart of Lions on Sunday.

Striker Kofi Nti Boakye got what seemed the only goal of the match with a controversial penalty eight minute to full time.

But the visitors got the equalizer with a late contentious penalty from the boot of Nana Agyiri.

The third successive draw prompted angry reaction from some of the supporters, becoming disillusioned by the performance of referee Sumaila Ibrahim.

The centre man needed police escort after irate fans went berserk following the late penalty awarded to the visitors.

They threw objective onto the pitch and nearly vented their spleen on some of the management members of the club,  accusing them of buying half-baked players.

Kotoko lie 11th on the League table and travel to Dorma to face Aduana on Wednesday.
