Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Isaac Amoako picked up a minor shoulder injury in Sunday’s 2-2 draw with AshantiGold.

The 29-year-old has had a strong start to the season – getting the nod ahead of Burkinabe Soulama Abdoulaye in the first two games.

The ex BA United glovesman is however set to miss at least two training sessions after he was diagnosed with a shoulder injury after the game played at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.

Team doctor Kwaku Boateng has recommended a two-day rest for Amoako after which his injury will be re-accessed and given the all clear to resume training.

Amoako is however expected to be fit for the visit of Heart of Lions on Sunday.

The champions are still searching for their first win of the campaign having drawn the first two games against Amidaus Professionals and AshantiGold.
