Abdoulaye Soulama has ruled out a move to Hearts

Kotoko goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama says it is ‘not possible’ for him to cross carpet to join rivals Hearts of Oak.

The Burkinabe international has emerged on the radar on the Phobians with reports in the local media claiming the capital-based will make an official approach for his services.

Hearts want to test the resolve of the club to hold onto the player whose contract runs out in August.

The 33-year-old has revealed he will not sign for Hearts under no circumstance.

“It is not possible for me to sign for Hearts. I don’t think that will ever happen,” Soulama said

“I am told Kotoko requested for the services of Mahatma Otoo and so I believe that is why they also want to try to sign me.

“But I am happy here in Kumasi. The fans love me, the management team love me and I am enjoying myself,”

“If I don’t get an offer to travel abroad, I will stay here. It’s not necessary to play for any club apart from Kotoko.

Soulama has been impressive in his five-year stint with the club with remarkable performances in post for the defending Ghanaian League champions.
