Special aid to Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Kwame Kyei has stated that the club will welcome any assistance from their supporters to help Daniel Darkwa undergo surgery.

Reports went widespread during the week that, Daniel Darkwa is crying for help to treat his shoulder injury after doctors charged him GH¢10,000 for surgery.

Darkwah, who signed for the Porcupine Warriors at the beginning of the season has been injured for sometime now, and medical experts are demanding GH¢10,000 before they treat him.

According to reports, the medical team of the club have informed the Executive chairman but nothing has been done about it.

The reports indicated that whenever they go to club secretariat to see the Executive chairman, his secretary will tell them he is not around. The player has now been left helpless and dejected.

But speaking to Hello FM, special aid to the club's chief, Nana Gyembibi Coker says they will welcome any form of assistance from their teeming fans to help cure the player's shoulder.

"Management will Always Welcome any step from the supporters to raise money to support Daniel Darkwah but the right must be done," he told Hello FM.
