Yahaya Mohammed is determined to return to the champions Kotoko after revealing his loan move to Amidaus was a punishment for his indiscretion

The midfielder went public on an attempt to sell him to rivals Hearts of Oak without his knowledge.

This led to a barrage of media attacks on Kotoko's management which resulted in the former OGC Nice player being hit with an indefinite suspension. However, the 24-year-old joined the newly promoted side as an escape route to prevent being frozen out at Kotoko.

He made a return to the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday and captained Amidaus to a deserved 0-0 draw on their debut.

Mohammed almost grabbed the headlines hen his expertly taken free kick just after recess drew a spectacular save from Kotoko goalkeeper Isaac Amoako.

"My ultimate punishment for speaking to the media over the botched move to Hearts is coming to Amidaus on loan," the Amidaus captain said.

"I will however work very hard here (at Amidaus) to improve myself and get back to Kotoko."
