Former Asante Kotoko coach Kjetil Zachariassen says he should have been sacked together with all the management members of the club.

The Norwegian trainer was sacked following Asante Kotoko's elimination from both the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup.

Zacharrisen was asked to leave his post right after the game against Ivorian side San Pedro in the play-offs of the CAF Confederation Cup in Ivory Coast.

The Porcupine Warriors lost that game by 2-1 on aggregate to exit the competition.

Agitation by supporters after the game compelled management to sack the coach and even leave him behind in Ivory Coast.

Zachariassen was left behind and asked to resign from the club which he declined in consultation with his agent.

According to the former AshantiGold coach, Executive Director of the club Dr Kwame Kyei should have also sacked all management team members after his dismissal.

"When we had a meeting and they wanted to sack me,all of them were there all management and quote me they said Coach now we are here at crossroads, so they want to sack me and I said if I am going we should all go because we are in this together, we have done this together," he told Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.

"They do evaluation after their own bellies is not good. So they should have left with me. All of them in the management should leave their post ,all of them, they should have left when I left," he added.

Asante Kotoko have been ordered to pay a US$ 12, 425 compensation to Zacharriasen after they were found guilty of contract breaches.
