Kotoko midfielder Michael Anaba is confident his side will defend their Premier League crown and land the FA Cup double this season.
After a slump which saw them exit the CAF Champions League this year, the Porcupine Warriors are still in serious contention for winning the crown are currently on a four match unbeaten run.
They grinded out an important 1-1 draw against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the countryââ¬â¢s biggest match last Sunday at the Accra sports stadium which has seen the move just within a point of leaders Berekum Chelsea in second place .
Anaba is just not happy with just finishing second on the table, but confident his side can retain the Premier League crown and win the FA Cup.
ââ¬ÅItââ¬â¢s not impossible. Weââ¬â¢re in good position to win the League again and go to Africa and also win the FA Cup,â⬠Anaba told GHANAsoccernet.com
ââ¬ÅThe final six games are going to be very tough but we have the mental toughness to scale through.
ââ¬ÅWe want to g to Africa again and the only way out is either to win the League or the FA Cup and we want both to make our fans happy.
ââ¬ÅThey deserve it for showing us love and support despite exiting the Champions League.ââ¬
The next six games will prove crucial for the side as they will play Medeama, Berekum Arsenals, Aduana Stars, Heart of Lions, Ashantigold and Amidaus Professionals.
