Kumasi Asante Kotoko strongly revived their chances of winning the league title as they moved to second on the Glo Premier League table following their 1-1 draw against arch rivals Hearts.

The Porcupine Warriors are just one point behind new league leaders Berekum Chelsea who have 43 points after 24 matches.

Berekum Chelsea moved to the summit of the Ghana Premier League thanks to their goalless with New Edubiase on Sunday.

The result means the Blues have toppled Medeama who have been leading the table since the start of the year.

With just six matches remaining some exciting times are anticipated in the Ghana Premier League with all the top-five clubs all in with a chance of winning the title.

But the race will be concentrated among the top three with Kotoko and Medeama occupying the second and third positions with 42 points apiece.

Hearts of Oak have also strongly enhance their chances of finishing among the top four teams in the league as they have climbed out of the relegation zone danger to the 8th position.

With RTU already relegated, Berekum Arsenal, Tema Youth, Heart of Lions and Liberty Professionals are all in danger of being relegated.
