Kotoko must find trump card to break Justice Blay deadlock

Asante Kotoko must come up with a trump card to break the deadlock in negotiations for Medeama midfield dynamo Justice Blay.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands a drastic breakthrough in negotiation is required if the midfielder is to finalise a move to Asante Kotoko on a permanent basis.

The Porcupine Warriors have trailed Blay since he ended his one year loan spell at the club.

But the club has made little progress in talks with Medeama believed to be holding out for a reported $100,000.

Discussions between the two parties are ongoing, albeit slowly amid fears the protracted talks could jeopardize the deal.

Medeama valued Justice Blay at $200,000 but are prepared to let him go on a half-price.

Kotoko officials have been slow on the negotiation table as Medeama continue to hold the trump card in the transfer business.

The stagnation leaves Kotoko with a race against time if they are to land the midfielder as Maxwell Konadu hopes to add further quality ahead of their participation in the CAF Champions League this season.

A massive breakthrough is required and fast if Blay can actualize his dream of playing for the Porcupine Warriors.
