A three-member committee has been inaugurated to look into the impasse within the Ashanti Regional supporter wing of Asante Kotoko.

The committee which was inducted on Friday is chaired by ex Municipal Chief Executive of Offinso South, Fred Kwaku Amponsah and has Lawyer Marie-Louis Simon and Kwaku Nsiah a building and road contractor as its members.

The committee is tasked with investigating and making recommendations to the Kotoko Board over the feud which stalled elections of executives in the Asahnti Regional branch of the Circles (the official supporter wing of the club).

The committee will also look into issues surrounding the emergence of a splinter supporter group called 'Warriors'.

"The Executive Chairman, Dr. Sarpong inaugurated a three member committee today and they are expected to make findings and recommendations to the club's board in the areas aforementioned," club spokesman Listowell Yesu Bukarson told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"The findings made by the committee would be binding on management once the board approves of it and therefore we urge all the Kotoko faithfuls to give its fullest cooperation and appear before the committee as and when they are called."

The committee is expected to conclude its work by the end of the month and will present its findings to the board on October 3.
