Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko have secured the services of Ivorian defender Banh Ben Adama.

The 27-year-old left-back begun his career with ASEC Mimosas but featured for Africa Sports and captained the side.

He was on Kotoko's wish list before the start of the 2011 season when he played in a club friendly against the Porcupine Warriors.

Adama is expected to replace youngster Baba Abdul Rahman who has joined German Bundesliga outfit Greuther Furth.

He will undergo medical at the Baba Yara Stadium before finalizing his move.

Kotoko Executive Chairman Dr K K Sarpong said he will remain with the club.

"He is not going back. This is for sure. The coach wants to see him," Sarpong told the club's official newspaper.
