Asante Kotoko continued their fine form with a 3-1 victory over second-tier Deportivo in a friendly game on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Veteran midfielder Stephen Oduro converted a spot kick before striker Nafiu Iddrisu and Michael Mensah got on the score sheet
Emmanuel Osei grabbed the consolation goal for Deportivo.
Head coach Maxwell Konadu tested some of his fringe players in the game.
Kotoko will meet new boys Bechem United in the third week of the Glo Premier League on Sunday at the Baba Yara stadium.
