Asante Kotoko striker Abdul Aziz Yusif has promised to score goals for the club in the CAF Champions League.

The youngster-who joined from Real Tamale United in January-has scored two goals on his Africa debut after scoring in the 7-0 drubbing over Sony Nguema.

Yusif wants to replicate his form in the inter-clubs competition.

"I was recruited by Kotoko to come help our goal scoring problem and I am happy that I am living up to that responsibility," the former Ghana U20 told the Kotoko Express Newspaper.

"I wish on behalf of my colleagues and on the behalf of all members of the Kotoko family to dedicate the Malabo goal to Coach Didi as he celebrated his birthday on the day of the match.

"I am happy that we were able to secure that victory as a birthday present to him."

Yusif has scored four goals in the Ghana Premier League.
