Ghana striker Ben Acheampong has emerged as  a target of Belgian top-flight side Beerschot FC

Beerschot manager Adrie Koster is keen to add the Asante Kotoko red-hot to his squad after impressing on his debut campaign for the Porcupine Warriors.

He played a key role for the Kumasi-based side in their Premier League triumph.

He dislodged Ivorian striker Ahmed Toure during the second half of the season.

But the ex-All Stars attacker wants to remain coy on his future as speculations begin to mount.

“I know there are some European clubs monitoring my performances,” Acheampong said

“But at the moment, I am not in a position to comment on this (Beerschot) link even though I am aware of their interest.

“I just won a League title with Kotoko and currently here in the Black Stars camp to help Ghana beat Lesotho and Zambia.

“I just want to concentrate fully on the national cause first and then we see what happens later,”

The 22-year-old is part of the Black Stars squad that will play in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zambia.
