Kotoko to return to Ghana on Monday

Kotoko will return to Ghana on Monday after qualifying to the next stage of the CAF Champions League. 

The Kumasi-based side beat Sony Nguema 1-0 on Sunday evening to complete an incredible 8-0 aggregrate win over the Equatorial Guinean side.

New import Abdul Yusif scored the match winner in the 62nd minute to hand the Porcupine Warriors victory at the  Nuevo Estadio de Malabo.

The Ghanaian champions are expected to arrive in the country later on Monday to a rousing welcome.

Kotoko have set-up a meeting with Algerian side JSM Bejaia in the next stage of the competition.
