Asante Kotoko will be dragged before the Disciplinary Committee for fans misconduct during a league match against Berekum Chelsea at home.

Some irate fans allegedly heckled two of Metro TV journalists-Christopher Opoku and Nana Agyeman-over comments they made during the game.

They also threw missiles targeted at the match officials when a decision did not go their way.

"The GFA President has instructed that the matter be looked at by the disciplinary committee of the Ghana Football Association," Premier League boss Welbeck Abra-Appiah told Happy Sports.

"The matter needs to be resolved quickly because Metro TV said some of their vital cables were destroyed by some of the fans.

"The match official has also made his report ready which I have chanced upon it. There are lots of things in it and we have to quickly allow the DC to look into the matter.

Kotoko won the match 1-0 courtesy a second half penalty.
