Asante Kotoko will play second-tier side Deportivo on Wednesday ahead of this weekend's league clash.
The Porcupine Warriors recorded a resounding 3-0 success over AshantiGold last Sunday and are keen to continue their fine form by trimming the rough edges ahead of the tie.
The Asokwa-based side will prove a fine test for the Kumasi-based side as boss Maxwell Konadu continues to build a team that will be capable of winning the Premier league.
Meanwhile Kotoko’s rivals Hearts of Oak will also engage Pure Joy on Thursday.
They beat third- tier side Pobiman FC 7-0 on Tuesday.
