Asante Kotoko have once more again turned to their former greats to derive inspiration for the CAF Champions League clash against JSM Bejaia.

The Ghanaian champions will be hosting the Algerian club in the second leg match of the second preliminary round at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday.

Kotoko carry a tricky goalles draw advantage into the second leg clash and must now just win to secure progress in this season’s competition.

The club, just like they did in their last round triumph over Sony Nguema have called onto their former players to help inspire the current crop to victory on Sunday.

Ex players Prince Opoku Polly, Sarfo Gyamfi and Opoku Afriyie are expected to visit the team’s camp on Friday to share their experience on how they made the club so great during their time.

This, the club believes, will help motivate the players to give off their best while securing progress with a good win on Sunday.

“The move, as was done before the team played against Sony Nguema is to bring the old players closer to the team to inspire and motivate the team ahead of the must-win game (against JSM Bejaia) on Sunday,” Kotoko’s spokesman Listowell Yesu Bukarson told MTNFootball.com.
