Defender Smallboy Korbah out of Hearts-Kotoko clash

Asante Kotoko will be without defender Smallboy Korbah for the Super Clash against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

The central defender who has just returned from a two-month injury lay-off did not make the Kotoko team for Sunday’s game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

This means the formidable partnership between Rashid Sumaila and the former Heart of Lions defender will be non-existent in the Super Clash.

This could serve as good news for Hearts especially with striker Mahatma Otoo in good goalscoring form.

Kotoko are chasing a vital win against their arch rivals which could see them dethrone Medeama at the summit of the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors are currently third in the Ghanain top flight – just a point behind Medeama with seven games left.
