Kotoko's Anaba assuages injury fears

Asante Kotoko new sensation Michael Anaba has declared himself fit for their next Premier League match, just 24 hours after it was it was feared he could be sidelined for weeks.

The impressive enforcer was stretchered off and taken to the Komfo Anokye Hospital in an ambulance after he picked up a knock in Sunday’s win over Heart of Lions.

The ex-Windy Professionals suffered a suspected broken ankle but he says he’s fit and will be available for selection in a crucial game at Berekum Arsenals.

“I had a knock and at a moment I thought I was going to be out for a long time. But thank God I feel well and will surely play next week if I’m selected by the coach” Anaba told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I am eager to contribute my quota to our ambition of win the league for our supporters. I feel better than hopefully I will be around on Sunday”

The 18-year-old has warmed his way into the hearts of the club’s supporters with some sublime displays in the centre of midfield in his debut season for his boyhood club.
