Kotoko's priority to defend league title- Mas-Ud Dramani

Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani says his immediate priority is the Premier League and not the side's impending campaign in Africa.

The Ghana champions are billed to play Equatorial Guinea side Sony Nguema in the first preliminary round on their return to the CAF Champions League.

Kotoko however in the interim, have serious problems in their bid to successfully defend their domestic Premier League crown.

Dramani has thus decided to focus all his energies and resources to the immediate needs of the Premier League with the Champions League far off from kick-off.

"I don’t think we can bother ourselves now with Africa," he told MTNFootball.com.

"The Champions League doesn’t kick off until February and we are still playing in the Premier League.

"So for now we are focused on improving our performance in the Premier League and by so we also prepare for Africa.

"Because it is only when we find our consistency and perform better and better that we can also affect things positively in Africa."
