Kroos: The team that best adapts to playing without fans will be successful

Toni Kroos feels that the team that best adapts to the absence of fans in the stands will have the most success when LaLiga Santander returns.

With the first game back against Eibar coming up on June 14, the German is delighted to be back training with the whole Real Madrid squad.

"It is much better to train with the group, you have to play games in training," he told the club's media.

"Now things seem more normal and we prefer it.

"During the weeks in which we were at home we hadn't touched the ball much.

"The most important thing is to touch the ball a lot.

"We train with intensity to arrive in the best possible way to the first game.

"We cannot do more, this situation is the same for everyone."

Kroos understands that it is a unique situation and who will win end up winning LaLiga Santander is a matter of which side adapts best to the conditions.

"You have to work a lot on the physical aspect, the feeling with the ball and how we have to play as a group.

"We are training for the 11 remaining games.

"It is the first time that we have to play games without fans, we'll see how that goes.

"The team that best adapts to this situation is the one that will win," Kroos believes.

Kroos also remembered the famous win over Juventus in Cardiff on its third anniversary.

"I have good memories, we won 4-1," he said of that night.

"The second half was one of the best in my six years here.

"It was the second after [2016 final in] Milan, a night that we will always remember."
