KULUSEVSKI: “PARMA REALLY ARE ONE BIG FAMILY, THEY’LL ALWAYS BE WITH ME”

Published on: 05 August 2020

In a long interview with the Gazzetta di Parma, Dejan Kulusevski said his goodbyes to and thanked the Club and fans after a splendid season with the Crociati.

Here are some extracts from the interview:

“My teammates that always helped me, the coach that always played me even when I made mistake and the environment here allowed me to do my work. Parma? I fell in love immediately, a real shot from cupid’s bow. I like everything about this city, the peace and quiet and the facts that it’s on a human scale. I like it when fans stop me on the street and talk about their Club and my performances. It really is a splendid city. Coach D’Aversa is a really well-prepared coach, he’s great and like an older brother. These Crociati are a special bunch of lads. It’s been an honour to play for these fans, who are so passionate but never put too much pressure on the players. I’ve got to know many of them and I’ll always carry their words of gratitude with me. My only regret is not being able to say goodbye properly at the Tardini. They really deserved it but sometime’s things go that way. I’ll always remember them. I‘ll always have Parma in my heart. It’s only been one year but it’s like I’ve been here for ten, these things stay with you forever. Parma really are a big family. Even the president and staff are always available to listen and talk. I feel at home here, and the name Parma will always have a place in my heart.“
