General News of Thursday, 31 May 2012Source: citifmonline.com Former Attorney General, Martin Amidu has questioned the current Attorney General, Benjamin Kumbour’s credibility.

Amidu was responding to comments he claims were made on Radio Gold, alleging that he was fired over a case of conflict of interest.

According to him, the panelist had also alleged that Benjamin Kumbuor had the President’s confidence because of his integrity.

However, Amidu in an interview on Citi Breakfast Show, Benjamin Kumbuor is not as clean as perceived.

He said, “They cannot compare me to Mr. Ben Kumbuor. I, as Interior minister investigated Mr. Kumbuor; there is a full solid police report on him so how can the president tell me that after that report, he has more confidence in Mr. Kumbuor than me, if he is not using the Attorney General?”**
