Ghana midfielder Bernard Kumordzi could be punished by French club Dijon FC for initiating his exit from the club.

Kumordzi has held talks with Belgian giants RKC Genk over a possible this summer without the consent of his club.

Dijon say they will report Genk to FIFA if their players signs for them.

The Ghana international has a contract with the French Ligue 2 side which will expire in January 2015.

Dijon president Olivier Delcourt has also accused the 27-year-old of malingering and truancy.

"He will meet the disciplinary committee on Tuesday in the presence of Olivier Dall'Oglio, Sebastien Perez, captain and myself," Delcourt said.

"He was expected in Dijon late Friday but he is still not here. It seems clear that there will be a showdown."

Kumordzi joined Dijon-then a French Ligue 1 outfit-in January on a three-and-a-half year deal from Greek top flight side Panionios.
