Ghanaian midfielder Bennard Kumordzi has sent speedy recovery message to injured Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah.

The 24-year-old went under the knife on Friday to correct an anterior cruciate ligament tear he suffered last week.

The former TSG Hoffenheim lanky central defender will spend six months in the treatment room before returning to the pitch.

He would obviously be out of Ghana's 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan next month.

Kumordzi, who plays for Belgian Pro League is side KRC Genk, has sent well-wish message to Vorsah, wishing him a speedy recovery.

"Speedy recovery my bro Vorsah, God be with you," he posted on his blackberry status update.

Kumordzi has enjoyed a fine season in Belgium lifting the Belgium FA Cup.
