Kwadwo Asamoah fit for Udinese Europa test

Kwadwo Asamoah has given Udinese a boost after passing fit to face PAOK in Udinese’s Europa League match on Thursday, but fellow Ghanaian Emanuel Badu is out.

The first leg of the match ended goalless in Friuli and the team, who has often been considered to have snubbed the tournament, will go into return leg with a highly weakened side.

It seems an injury crisis has spread throughout the Italian peninsula as the Zebrette’s causality ward is increasing with numbers.

Antonio Di Natale and Giampaolo Pinzi have failed to recover in time for the match, while Mauricio Isla (who recently underwent knee surgery) will remain out for the rest of the season.

Paulo Barreto has been left at home due to his injury, while it remains unlikely that Badu will make a return to the field for some time.

The only boost Francesco Guidolin has received is that their Ghanaian Asamoah, has recovered from his knock he picked up at the African Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, and has been included in the team set to fly to Salonicco on Wednesday.
