Kwadwo Asamoah stars as Inter draw at Roma

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah impressed as Inter Milan drew 2-2 in a pulsating game at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night. 

The ex-Juventus midfielder played the entire duration and was excellent of the left side of defence as his marauding runs caused troubles for Roma.

The Nerazzurri took the lead twice through Keita Balde and then Mauro Icardi only to be pegged back by the Giallorossi, whose goals were scored by Cengiz Under and then Alexander Kolarov from the penalty spot.

Keita opened the scoring after just 37 minutes, while three minutes later Handanovic was forced to beat away Florenzi’s effort.

Cengiz Under then pulled level for the home side 6 minutes after the break following a dominant spell by AS Roma.

However, Argentine forward and Inter captain, Mauro Icardi put his side ahead in the 66th minute.

The Nerazzuri's were denied victory after former Manchester City defender Alexander Kolarov converted from the spot with fifteen minutes remaining on the clock.

The draw leaves Inter Milan third and on same points with Napoli, who are second on the table.
