Kwaso Community win maiden edition of Nyantakyi Easter Challenge Cup

It was all joy for the people of Kwaso after emerging winners of the Nyantakyi Challenge Cup played over the weekend.

After a 1-1 stalemate with Ejisu in the final game, Kwaso emerged victorious with a 4-2 win on penalties.

The tournament which has come to stay as an annual championship was supervised by chiefs in the area as well as the Ghana FA boss.

With over eight communities competing, the paternal hometown of the Ghana FA President, Kwaso, emerged winners.

The communities within the Ejisu-Juabeng municipality were zoned into four zones.

With each zone presenting one team, communities like Fumasua, Ejisu, Baworo and Kwaso lighted the Easter Celebration with sumptuous display of football skills.

The FIFA Council member who was thrilled by the skills displayed by the young talented footballers advised them to be disciplined in life and stay focused on whatever they choose to do in life.

He assured them of his support to help them to realise their dreams.
