Veteran Ghanaian coach Joseph Emmanuel Sarpong says the current call-ups made by Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah represents the best players the country can boast of at the moment.

Kwesi Appiah has invited 24-players for Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against  Kenya to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on 23 March, 2019.  With both teams already qualified for the AFCON, the game will be contested on the basis of who tops the group.

Speaking to Happy FM on the call-ups  made by Kwesi Appiah ahead of the Kenya game he said: "The Black stars squad is good because currently this is the best we have now.  Most of the players are regular players in their various clubs".
