Kwesi Nyantakyi: “We will employ more marketers to develop the local league”

Newly re-elected Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi has vowed to improve the local league by employing more marketers to sell the league.

Nyantakyi, was re-elected as president of the Ghana Football Association for another four year term in Tamale today.

The non-practicing lawyer is credited with qualifying Ghana to three world cup finals and was popularly re-elected as president of the association after standing unopposed.

Nyantakyi admits there is a lot of work to be done in lifting the standards of the local league and vowed to employ more marketers to sell the football.

“Spectating will be a problem in the next four year, in the next eight years and in the next twelve years because the European football has colonized our media,” Nyantakyi said after being re-elected

“But we are going to introduce more marketing intiatieves and we are going to employ more marketing people to sell the league.”
