Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier, who was relieved of his Spurs duties on deadline day, is closing in on a move to Europa League champions Villareal.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Frenchman will undergo medical tests with the Yellow Submarines and then sign a contract, the details of which aren’t known.
