Lacazette 'not interested in Inter move & could be Barca's Lautaro alternative'

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has emerged as a potential Inter transfer target, but L’Equipe also warns he doesn’t seem interested in the move.

According to the French paper, Lacazette would be one of the alternatives should Barcelona activate the €111m release clause in Lautaro Martinez’s contract.

Lacazette just turned 29 this week and Arsenal snapped him up from Olympique Lyonnais in 2017 for €53m.

He contributed nine goals and three assists in 26 competitive games this season, but hit the headlines again recently for off the field antics, which have increasingly frustrated fans and club alike.

Nonetheless, L’Equipe and French transfer expert Bilel Ghazi also point out that Lacazette is not interested in making the move to San Siro.

His Arsenal future is in doubt anyway, because the Gunners are struggling to qualify for the Champions League.

Inter have already reportedly agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, who will be a free agent this summer.
