Ghana midfielder Laryea Kingston is confident of making a return to the national team despite being snubbed for Wednesday's international friendly against South Africa.
The relationship between the player and the Serbian tactician reportedly went sour following a bust up at the team's training camp in France prior to the World Cup.
But Kingston is still harbouring hopes of making a return to the side for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month against Swaziland.
"Yes Iââ¬â¢m very positive of playing for the national team but at the moment I want to concentrate and secure a team first," Kingston said.
"A lot of people have said things in the past but I've always been committed to the national team for all these years and determined to stage a strong comeback. I started playing at a younger age and so that is why people think I'm old but am still feeling very young and ready to don the national coloursà again."
