Laryea Kingston set for Vitesse challenge

Ghana midfielder Laryea Kingston could be handed a lifeline by Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem after training with the club on Wednesday morning.

Kingston has been searching for for a new club after he parted ways with Scottish side Heart of Midlothian in May.

Vitesse want to fortify their midfield to move out of relegation zone in the four-week old Eredivisie.

The 30-year-old told the club's website he can recapture his form early to aid their League campaign.

"I have not played three months and it's nice that I can train again. The training was tough, I like to do," Kingston said in an interview.

"My position in the field can vary. I'm pretty versatile, and can play multi-position from the feet, back and both also in midfield."

Kingston also believes a good showcase for the GelreDome club will him a return to the Ghana national team after being axed from the pre-World Cup squad.
