Lazio's president Claudio Lotito has named the price he wants for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, which he claims will increase every month moving forward.
Manchester United have been linked continuously with the 27-year-old midfielder for a number of years now. And that link reared its head again in the summer when the club were reportedly weighing up a move for the Serbian after a move for Frenkie de Jong fell through.
Of course, no move for Milinkovic-Savic materialised in the summer but there has been suggestions from Italy that Juventus are interested in arranging a transfer in January. With the Serie A giants believed to be interested, this could spark United into a response should they wish to sign him.
However, any deal may be dead in the water after Lotito revealed the price tag he has placed on the club's star man. Speaking to Il Messaggero, Lazio's chief said: "I have no agreement with his agent [Mateja] Kezman to sell him to Juventus or anyone else in the winter.
"On the contrary, he is now worth €120m [£105m], not €100m [£88m]. Every month the price goes up."
Milinkovic-Savic has enjoyed a fine start to his campaign so far. The midfielder has scored four goals and grabbed seven assists in just 12 Serie A and Europa League matches.
United return to action on Thursday night as they welcome Omonia Nicosia to Old Trafford in the Europa League. A victory would stand Erik ten Hag's men in good stead for qualification to the knockout stages of the European competition.
