Goalkeeper of Legon Cities FC Selorm Komla Honu was named the best player for his agile performance in the 1-1 draw with Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Legon Cities FC produced a vintage display but could not do enough to steal the three points.

Jonah Attuquaye gave the Royals the lead with a superb solo goal in the 16th minute against the run of play.

Hearts of Oak had plethora of chances to get back into the game but could not beat the inspirational Komla Honu in Legon Cities FC goal.

The young shot-stopper made three quick saves midway through the match when his outfit were under severe pressure from the Phobians.

Honu frustrated the hosts with incredible stops but couldn’t do more as Hearts of Oak snatched a late equalizer through Kwadwo Obeng Junior.

The 22-year-old was deservedly adjudged the most valuable player for his overall contribution in the match.
