Legon Cities goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has lauded the Ghana Football Association's plan for the return of football.

The GFA released a proposed plan for football to return in October, although it will be subjected to a government approval.

The 'Ready to Play' plan, will see games shown on TV with the Ghana Premier League divided into two zones.

“I think the Coronavirus has allowed the GFA to learn something,” he told Citi Sports.

“Telecasting the matches live on TV will help market the players and the league.

”I think this will make the game look more attractive because the matches are going to be played on good pitches,” Dauda concluded.

The Ghana Premier League was cancelled following the outbreak of COVID-19 in Ghana.

But the GFA has earmarked the second week of October as date for the return of anew season, but an approval from government will be needed first.

Clubs are yet to begin group training.
