Legon Cities seek to gazump Hearts of Oak over Emmanuel Osei

Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities have just joined the quest to hijack Emmanuel Osei from Asokwa Deportivo as Hearts of Oak are yet to make a bid for the midfielder.

Legon Cities have opened talks with with Asokwa Deportivo on the availability of the midfielder and are hoping to close the deal in the coming days.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands that Legon Cities have named their price for the player as negotiations are still ongoing.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak have also contacted the club on the availability of the midfielder but are yet to present an official offer to the club.

Legon Cities are looking to revamp their squad in the transfer window and are confident they can lure the youngster from Hearts of Oak.

Emmanuel Osei has been impressive for Asokwa Deportivo in the 2019/20 Division One League where he has made 10 appearances and scored four goals.

He was key in Asokwa Deportivo's  win over Ghanaian giant Asante Kotoko in the Round of 64 in the MTN FA Cup
