Legon Cities to unleash new signing Victorien Adebayor against Olympics

Mega-rich Ghana Premier League outfit Legon Cities FC are set to hand Nigerien star Victorien Adebayor his debut in the Ghana Premier League matchday 19 clash against Great Olympics.

The former Inter Allies star participated in his first training on Wednesday after returning from international duty with the Niger national team.

Adebayor joined the Royals in the second transfer window from Danish second tier side HB Koge on loan.

The 24-year-old is not new to the Ghana Premier League, having excelled in the past with Inter Allies, and was leading scorer in the 2019/20 season before it was truncated due to COVID-19.

He is expected to lead Legon Cities to a good position before the season ends, having already missed the 2-1 defeat to Berekum Chelsea in the first game of the second round.
