Leicester 'Agree' Deal to Sign Hot Prospect Sam Hughes for £125,000 From Chester
Leicester City have agreed to sign Chester's young prospect defender Sam Hughes for £125,000, beating a number of other clubs to his signature. The 20-year-old's strong displays at both centre-back and right-back over his 36 appearances in the National League last season sparked interest from Swansea and Crystal Palace as well, while Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves had also made enquiries.
