English Premier League surprise packages Leicester City have reportedly lodged an official bid for AC Milan’s Nigel de Jong.
The Dutch 31-year-old midfielder has struggled to make much impact this season under coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, featuring just six times.
As per the Daily Mirror, Premier League high flyers Leicester City are interested in acquiring the services of the Netherlands international and have lodged an official offer for him.
The report suggests that the Foxes have offered €3 million for his capture and are willing to offer a bonus of €1m more if Claudio Ranieri’s side make it to the Champions League at the end of this season.
De Jong has plied his trade in England already and moved to AC Milan back in 2012 from Manchester City before playing for Hamburg and Dutch giants Ajax.
