English Premier League side Leicester are reportedly planning a bid for AC Milan’s Nigel de Jong.
The Foxes are still in the hunt for an unlikely league crown with over half of the season played, and Italian coach Claudio Ranieri sees De Jong as an ideal signing to provide steel to their midfield.
Acccording to The People, a bid of roughly €3 million is expected to arrive in Milan in the coming days.
Dutchman De Jong has endured a bit-part role for Milan this season, and is expected to move on in search of regular game time.
Just five opportunities have come the former Manchester City player’s way this term, while other midfield rivals such as Andrea Poli and Andrea Bertolacci have been given twice as many starts.
