Ghana international Emmanuel Boateng is set to miss Levante's La Liga clash with Real Valladolid after suffering an injury during the team's Copa del Rey match against Barcelona on Thursday.
The 22-year-old sustained the knock as Levante lost 3-0 at the Camp Nou to exit the Cup competition 4-2 on aggregate.
However, Levante manager Paco Lopez has ruled Boateng out of this weekend's clash against Valladolid.
"The injuries of Postigo and Boateng are muscular, it is difficult for them to arrive on Sunday," Lopez said.
This season, Boateng has made 18 appearances in all competitions.
He has scored just a goal.
