Liberty Professionals wonder kid Latif Blessing has been hailed by head coach George Lamptey after his side’s goalless draw game with Wa All Stars at the Wa Park on Sunday.

Blessing who lasted the entire duration of the game was the toast of the fans as the Dansoman-based side secured a point from the difficult Wa Park.

Coach George Lamptey hailed the skillful display of the youngster but played down camparisons with former captain Kennedy Ashia.

“Kennedy is a bit ahead of Blessing. Kennedy was a goal poacher, always looking for chances to shoot but Blessing is intelligent and very skillful.

Atta has got a lot of strength and likes to run a lot with or without the ball”, George Lamptey told the media after the game.

Blessing was voted the second most promising player in the Ghana Premier League last season and has been tipped for greatness this season.
