Liberty Professionals coach J.E Sarpong is delighted just to have halted the downward trend of his team with a win over Tema Youth on Sunday.
A 31st minute Daniel Agyei spot kick was enough to register a slender 1-0 over the Premier League re-entrants which now lifts
Liberty out of the relegation zone and Sarpong says he is just relieved to see his team win once again.
“It was difficult playing at home haven lost two games in a row,†he said after the game.
“There was a lot of pressure on us which is normal when you play at home and every win is a win so I am content with this win.â€
Sunday’s win now lifts the Dansoman-based club to 8th in the Premier League ahead of next Sunday’s trip AsahntiGold.
