Liberty Professionals goalkeeper Daniel Agyei is disappointed to have conceded a goal in just the first game of the season.

The Dansoman-based side failed to get their campaign off to a flying start after drawing 1-1 with re-promoted King Faisal at the Sly Tetteh Park on Saturday.

Liberty were punished for a momentarily loss of concentration after taking the lead through Kennedy Ashia.

And captain Agyei summed up the disappointing mood in camp by admitting the team did not do enough to win the game.

“It is really disappointing to concede in the first game,” he told Accra-based Radio Gold.

“It was a loss of concentration that cost us and we need to sit down and see our mistakes and correct them.”

Liberty next travel to the Tema Park to take on newly promoted Amidaus Professionals on Sunday.
