Liberty Professionals have given goalkeeper Daniel Agyei permission to speak to Hearts of Oak over a move.

The Phobians have expressed interest in signing the 26-year-old as they look to intensify their goalkeeping department ahead of the start of the season.

Daniel Agyei has only just returned from holidays in the Netherlands where he spent time with the family.

And Liberty Professionals Director George Afriyie says the Ghana international has the club’s permission to begin negotiations with Hearts.

“Agyei has a contract with Liberty but we have told him we will not stand in his way when he wants to leave,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“He therefore has the permission of the club to talk to Hearts.”

Agyei who has played in South Africa with Free State Stars is reported to be demanding $42,000 from Hearts before making the switch.
